Medications at SchoolThe purpose of administering medications in school is to help each child maintain an optimal state of health that may enhance his/her educational plan. Ideally, all medication should be given at home. However, there are students who will need to be given medications during the school day. Emergency Care Plans should be completed with the Primary Care Physician, Parent, and School Nurse. In some circumstances, the Emergency Care Plan may be part of your child's 504 Plan.
