Community Campus
The Community Campus, owned and operated by the Blaine County School District, is a multi-use facility open to the public. For an affordable hourly rate, individuals and organizations can rent space for meetings, classes, conferences, recreation, and entertainment.
The WRHS Performing Arts Theater hosts concerts and special events throughout the year. The Blaine County Recreation District (BCRD) operates several programs in the facility, such as FitWorks, the HUB, and the gymnasium. The BCRD HUB offers after-school and summer programs for students in grades K–6, while the gymnasium supports a variety of sports programs.
The Community Campus also serves vital community roles beyond education and recreation. It functions as a polling place during elections and has served as an emergency headquarters for the American Red Cross. During the Castle Rock Fire in 2007 and the Beaver Creek Fire in 2013, the Red Cross provided food, shelter, and information to displaced residents from this location.
The School District continues to use the facilities for its academies and school-to-work programs. In addition, the Community Campus houses a number of organizations, including:
Blaine County Education Foundation
Lee Pesky Learning Center
Girls on the Run of Southern Idaho
Footlight Dance Centre
Far and Wise
Blaine County Recreation District
Sun Valley Music Festival
