Bonjour, je vous souhaite la bienvenue!  Learning a new language is not only fun - it also opens doors, expanding your relationship with the world and your sense of self.  I am passionate about teaching the French language and deeply love the work I do here at WRHS.  I offer all levels: from French 1 to students in their seventh year of study.

I was born and raised here in the Wood River Valley, and I am so happy to be back home after more than two decades of exploring, learning, and teaching. I lived and studied in Belgium and Argentina, and earned a master's and PhD in Romance Languages from the University of Oregon. I have been teaching French for over 20 years, including five years at Boise State University, and eight years at the University of Oregon. I absolutely love teaching French at the high school level, and am grateful to be a part of such a wonderful school and community.
