I am a WRHS alumni and was inspired by the teachers in BCSD to become a teacher myself. I earned degrees in Spanish and Linguistics at the University of Nevada, Reno. After college I traveled the world and lived and worked in various countries, including teaching English in South Korea and studying Spanish in Spain. When I returned to Idaho, I pursued my interest in teaching high school Spanish and gained my teaching certification in 2013. More recently, I earned my endorsement in English as a New Language as well.  I love sharing my passion for Spanish language and culture with students in our interactive, fun classes. I am a life-long learner and value the new experiences and knowledge I gain every day at school. In my free time I snowboard, camp, and spend time with my little boys.
