Mrs. Wolfrom

"Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." - JFK. Education is the cornerstone of our democracy and social studies education is what makes educated, informed and involved citizens. Aside from that, I LOVE history and political science and have taught World History, AP US History, and AP Government for most of my time here. I have been teaching at Wood River High School as a social studies teacher for 14 years. I hold a bachelor's degree in history from Ohio University, received my teaching credential from Montana State University, and will be beginning a master’s program in English as a Second Language in the fall of 2016. Recently I was named the Mountain Express’s Woman of the Year for my advocacy work on behalf of teachers and students in the Wood River Valley. When I’m not teaching or at a community meeting I can be found riding my road bike, watching my kid’s ball games or floating down a river with my family. It is my absolute pleasure to teach at Wood River High School.
