I was born and raised in Idaho. I attended junior high and high school in Boise. When it came time to go to college, I chose Boise State, where I majored in physics. I returned to Boise State to earn my teaching certification. I student taught at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian. I have taught at Wood River High School since 2016.
