Angie Telford

I have been in the field of education for the past 10 years spending 8 years as a Special Education paraprofessional and the past 2 years as a Special Education teacher. I earned my Associate of Arts in Special Education at College of Southern Idaho and my BA in Special Education through Western Governors University. At WRHS I teach Academic Assistance, co-teach 11/12 American Literature and 10th grade Advisory.

Prior to going back to school to pursue a teaching degree, I worked as a dental assistant in 3 different states for many years, worked in the catering field and had my own home interior sewing business and designed my own fabric. I have lived in the Wood River Valley since 1986, and both of my children are Wood River High School graduates.

It is an honor to work with the students and staff at WRHS. I learn something new everyday and hope to pass that love of learning on to all the students I meet. I love to hike with my dog Dan, nordic ski, ride my bike and love to visit Sandpoint, Idaho every summer as well as spend as many days as possible at Redfish Lake with my family.
