English Language Development

  • Blaine County School District is fortunate to have a culturally and linguistically diverse student body.  Currently, around 38% of the total student population is of Hispanic or Latino decent.  Nearly 20% of the student body consists of students who are developing their English language skills and whose native language is one other than English.  We provide a variety of programs and instructional strategies to serve these children, including our English Language Development (ELD) Program and our Dual Immersion (DI)  Bilingual Education Program.
