Advanced Placement examinations are exams offered by the College Board and are taken each May by students. The tests are the culmination of year-long Advanced Placement courses. AP exams have a multiple-choice section and a free-response section. AP Studio Art requires students to submit a portfolio for review.
Various AP tests are administered every year at WRHS. An exam is automatically ordered for every student enrolled in an AP class. If a student wishes to opt-out of taking the AP exam in May, an AP Test Opt-Out Form must be completed and signed by both the student and the Parent no later than October 3, 2019. If a student opts out of an exam and later decides that they would like to take the test, a $40.00 late exam ordering fee will be added to the student's account. The deadline to order late tests is March 10, 2020.
