Fourth graders were given the opportunity to be put in Lewis and Clark's shoes for a day! Thanks to the Idaho Historical Society and Museum for sending a traveling trunk with artifacts, copies of journal excerpts, and hands-on activities. 

Some activities included using a plant press, writing notes using ink and a quill and a slate with chalk, measuring objects using a brass balance, and using tools such as a retractable telescope and a sundial.
