Welcome to Earth Science!

In the 8th grade, students learn all about Earth Science, Astronomy and Weather/Climate. Ms. Beane is excited to explore the Universe with your student.

Ms. Beane brings her diverse background of Environmental Education, Montessori Education and place-based learning to her classroom. She grew up in Minnesota but has lived in the Wood River Valley since 2011. She enjoys backcountry skiing, spending time with her family and enjoying good food. 

Ms. Beane holds a BA in Conservation Biology from Prescott College and a Post Graduate Degree in Education from the University of Edinburgh. She has also earned her Elementary Montessori Diploma through the Association Montessori Internationale.  

Ms. Beane is also involved with the Outdoor Education Program at WRMS. She is hoping to have many 8th graders be involved with trips this year!
