    Policies:

    • Runner must attend all the practices before the week's meet. The exceptions are made on an individual basis.
    • Runner must attend school on the day of the meet to compete.
    • If a runner is going to miss any practice or meet for any reason, one of the coaches must be contacted either in person or by phone.  Asking a friend to tell the coach is not a notification. The consequence may include sitting out the next meet.
    • Expect 3 training sessions per week. When possible, we like to give our team Fridays off to rest and recover.  We hope you can schedule dentist, doctor, and/or hair appointments on this day.
    • 6th graders are eligible to compete per MVAC bylaws.

    Gear Needed:

    • Activity card - Purchase at the WRMS main office (South entrance).
    • Uniforms will be issued before each meet and collected after the meet.
    • Water bottle and snacks for all practices and meets.
    • A good pair of running shoes at all practices and meets.
    • Set of all-weather gear (pants and jacket) for inclement weather.  Sweats are fine.
