Welcome to Guidance and Counseling! Wood River Middle School Social Worker and Counselors are here to help students with Academic, Career, and Personal/Social issues.
We tell kids to pay attention but we don't tell them how - Mindfulness is a gentle way of teaching kids how to pay attention.
The practice of Mindfulness is secular. It is not only breathing and promoting self-awareness, but it involves exercises relating to attention, emotion, caring and reflection.
