I moved to the Wood River Valley in 2006. Moving to Idaho allowed me to enjoy backcountry skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, rafting, and provided me with my greatest life title as Mom. I have two young children named Hudson and Skadi Mae. I couldn't imagine life without them. They are my Idaho gems. Being a parent has made me a better educator. Ultimately, E.E. Cummings expresses my philosophy best: "We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit". My goal is to be someone who lifts the veil for all my students and my own children.
