Dena graduated from Prescott College with a degree in elementary education. She previously worked in Salt Lake City as a primary teacher and curriculum specialist. Dena loves sharing the magic of reading with young learners. She seeks to create classroom communities which support academic and social growth through collaboration.  Students in Ms. Dena's class are encouraged to build a growth mindset through engaging activities and the creation of  meaningful products. Her hobbies include reading, biking, backpacking, and playing with animals.
