• Mr. Wohlwend graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Masters of Kinesiology in Exercise Science. He stayed in SF after graduating to start and grew one of the largest outdoor fitness companies in San Francisco; BootCampSF. After selling his business and spending two years teaching kinesiology to students at the Art Academy, he chose to make teaching science his second career. He is excited to share with his students his numerous adventures exploring the environments on all seven continents and Micronesia.

Having settled into life in the Wood River Valley he enjoys the mountain bike trails, rafting the amazing Idaho rivers, and hiking the plethora of trails with his wife and two young children. His goal is to create an experiential learning experience for the young adults at Wood River High School through hands-on labs, and the process of scientific thinking.  He also coaches the discus and shot put for our track team. At SFSU he went to the Division 2 NCAA national championships in the shot and discus, coming home an All-American in the Shot Put, and he still holds the school record in the shot.
