Hi! My name is Devan Hoehn and I am one of the ELD (English Language Development) specialists at Wood River High School. I teach Newcomers and co-teach in the math department. I love it! 

I graduated from WRHS in 2009 and went to the University of Montana to study Education and Spanish. I decided to get my Master's Degree in English Language Learning after coming back from studying abroad in Chile. In Chile, I got to experience what it was like going to school in another language. It is hard! Even with a background in Spanish, I still struggled. I decided that I wanted to help students who are learning English and make their school experience a good one. 

In my free time, I love to hike, play hockey, hunt, and just be outside. My husband Ramsy and I  have a six-year-old daughter (Elli) and a baby (Keller).  As a family, we like to play outside and spend time with our two pups, Easton and Hazel.
