I was born and raised in Montana. I graduated from Montana State University in 1989, moved to Hailey with my husband Max, and started teaching math at Wood River High School the same year. I taught high school math for 28 years in Hailey, courses from Foundations of Algebra to Geometry, Algebra Two to College Algebra and Pre-Calculus.  I taught as a dual credit instructor for the College of Southern Idaho for 13 of those years and served as the High School math department chair or co - chair for most of my teaching career.  I coached a flag team for 9 years as a beginning teacher and have enjoyed working with the Colla Voce choir for the past 11 years.  I was active in my local teacher's association for 4 years. I am currently serving as the district new staff induction program coordinator and as a K-12 math specialist.
