My name is Ian Blacker and I teach at the Residential Construction Academy at Wood River High School.

I was born and raised in Idaho and love living in the Wood River Valley. 

I have been a carpenter/general contractor for 20+ years and still enjoy building homes. I have built homes in Eastern Idaho, Island Park, Jackson Hole, Star Valley Wyoming and in the Wood River Valley. Some of my favorite projects have been in the school shop and school jobsites.  

I'm excited about working with students through all the stages of residential construction.
