Alisa joins Wood River Middle School after eight years of working as an environmental educator, backcountry guide, and river guide. She is passionate about sharing her curiosity about and enthusiasm for the world around her with students and adults of all ages. 

She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science - Water Resources at the University of Vermont and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Education through Western Colorado University. 

Outside of school, you will likely find her on the snow, river, trails, bird watching, or enjoying a good book.
