WRMS Book Club Engages and Inspires Students and Staff

WRMS Book club WRMS Book Club is open to all students in grades 6, 7, and 8, as well as all WRMS staff. Each month, we choose a specific book or author to read and then share our thoughts at a meeting in the library from 8-8:30 before school starts. Treats add to our great discussions and it is a fun way to start the day. Reading builds our community and provides a time to share different perspectives and get to know new people in our school.

WRMS Book Club is made possible with a generous grant/donation from the Blaine County Education Foundation. With this money, we are able to purchase books for our book club readers and then share them with classroom libraries for even more students to read and become part of an ongoing discussion.

Books this year (2018-19) include Wishtree, by Katherine Applegate; Refugee, by Alan Gratz, and OCDaniel, by Wesley King.
