On Friday, the 8th-grade Robotics team of Colton Whitesell and Dawson Torres walked away from the Idaho State VEX Robotics Competition with the one and only Middle School Excellence Award.  

This is the most prestigious award given at VEX Robotics Competitions and qualified the team to head to Louisville Kentucky and represent Idaho in the World Robotics Competition in late April. Only one Middle School team in the state earns the VEX Robotics Excellence Award and this goes to the top all-around Middle School team.

If you see these two boys, congratulate them and wish them well!  They have put many hours outside of the school day and it has paid off!
