Knowing a second language has enriched and shaped my life. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish at the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master's degree in Spanish at the University of Northern Iowa, completing studies for the Master's degree in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I have lived in Spain and traveled extensively to Mexico and Latin America for professional development and fun. and I have taught Spanish at Wood River High School since 1994, and teach all levels of Spanish from Spanish 1 to Advanced Placement Spanish Language and Culture.
