Wood River Robotics Team Traducción al español

The Wood River High School and Middle School robotics club will compete at the state championships on February 22. At the most recent tournament, the 1588B team won the excellence award, tournament champion and skills award. Kevin Lupton wrote, “Recently the team traveled to Vallivue HS for the last tournament of the season before the state championships on Feb. 22nd. Once again we dominated and had a team on both sides of the field in the championship match. To date we are having the best season we have ever had. but I'm telling the kids that nothing matters until state and nobody cares if your a favorite. Champions are dethroned all the time. We also won the excellence award and skills award. The excellence award recognizes the team that is the best over all. It includes an engineering design notebook the students have kept throughout the season, performance in skills matches as well as in the alliance matches and an a team interview at the tournament. Out of 32 teams at the tournament 5 were given the chance to interview and we had 2 of the 5 teams that made the finals in the interview process. Our 1588B team won the excellence award, tournament champion and skills award. They had allianced with a team from Bishop Kelly and were pitted against our own 1588A team allianced with our 1588D team. State is Feb. 22nd where we will be competing for the right to represent Idaho at the world championships in Louisville, Ky. in April.”
