I grew up in the Wood River Valley and attended Hemingway Elementary and Wood River Middle and High Schools. Before returning to Hemingway, I worked as a field instructor at the McCall Outdoor Science School, ski patrolled at Snowbasin Ski Resort in Utah, and was a U.S. Forest Service/BLM River Ranger on the Salmon, Rogue, Owyhee, and Bruneau Rivers. I believe the Wood River Valley is a phenomenal place to teach STEAM and learn about our natural world. I expect three things out of students; be curious, have fun, and listen to others.

When not working with students, I'm out on rivers, trails, and ski slopes with my family.

This is my 8th year at EHSS Middle School. I will be teaching 6th Grade Science, 7th Grade Math, 8th Grade Advisory, Water in the West, PE-Basketball, and Idaho Skills (i.e. Home Economics). As always, I am very excited to be working with Hemingway students!
