I grew up in the Wood River Valley and attended Hemingway Elementary and Wood River Middle and High Schools. Before returning to Hemingway, I worked as a field instructor at the McCall Outdoor Science School, ski patrolled at Snowbasin Ski Resort in Utah, and was a U.S. Forest Service/BLM River Ranger on the Salmon, Rogue, Owyhee, and Bruneau Rivers. I believe that the Wood River Valley is a phenomenal place to teach STEAM and learn about our natural world. I expect three things out of students; be curious, have fun, and listen to others. If you need to contact me, please reach out via email - firstname.lastname@example.org. When not working with students, I'm out on rivers, trails, and ski slopes.
This year, I will be teaching 6th Grade Science, 7th Grade Math, Water in the West, PE-Basketball, and Idaho Skills/Cooking. As always, I am very excited to be working with Hemingway students!
