2021-2022 Hemingway Parents Auxiliary
The Hemingway Parents Auxiliary provides support for the Hemingway staff and students and encourages community within the Ernest Hemingway STEAM School. Here are some ways that our PA contributes to the well-being of students and teachers:
Organizing Hemingway parent meetings throughout the school year.
Providing grant funds to faculty members for approved activities and equipment.
Meeting the needs for STEAM and technology requests.
Supporting educational requests such as school software and public performance licenses that are not funded by the district.
Supplementing teacher’s out-of-pocket expenses through the purchase of additional school supplies.
Creating the Hemingway directories that are distributed to all students.
Supporting various events throughout the year.
There is no fee for the Hemingway Parents Auxiliary, but we do hold fundraisers during the year to raise money and we encourage your participation in these fundraisers. On average the PA spends approximately $75 per year on every student! One-time donations from families to support the PA are always appreciated. Checks may be made payable to Hemingway Parents Auxiliary and dropped off in the office. The Hemingway Parents Auxiliary is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Therefore, your donation may be tax deductible.
