I grew up in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and from a young age dreamed of spending my life in the mountains. I went to college at the University of Vermont and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Immediately following graduation, I chased my dreams out west where I worked as a field instructor at Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center for 6 year. With a desire to continue moving west, I moved to Sun Valley and had the opportunity to work for Higher Ground while working toward my Masters in Teaching. I couldn't be more thankful to work in this spectacular environment and community; only enhancing our ability to apply science, technology, engineering, art and math to our core concepts. I look forward to not only learning from your kids in this community, but also fostering their curiosity and connection to learning.
