I have taught in the Blaine County School District for twenty-two years. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grade and am currently teaching third grade at Ernest Hemingway STEAM School. This will be my fourteenth year teaching as a third grade teacher at EHSS. I taught in the Dual Immersion program for twelve years. The Wood River Valley has been my home for the past thirty years. My son, Oliver, is twenty-two years old and a recent Boise State Honors College graduate. My daughter, Ella, is twenty and a junior at Savannah College of Art and Design. They both attended EHSS from kindergarten through fifth grade. My husband, Lars, and I are celebrating our twenty-sixth year of marriage this fall. Hiking, mountain biking, reading, skiing, and traveling are some of my favorite pastimes. I feel fortunate to teach in such a supportive and caring community. I am excited about the upcoming school year!
