Hi! My name is Emma Wilander and this is my first year at Ernest Hemingway STEAM school.

I was raised in the Wood River Valley and therefore am a die hard enthusiast for the exceptional life and learning experiences the Wood River Valley has to offer. My teaching passion is rooted in outdoor and experiential learning, as I believe this is the best way to encourage, motivate and build a desire and love of life long learning in our students!

I have spent the last couple of years in and out of the valley attending school and working in Missoula, Montana and Portland, Maine but have returned because there is no place like home. 

Re-joining this valley as an educator and being able to give back to this place and the people that have shaped me, has been a dream come true! I am thrilled to be teaching your students, in 4th grade, at Ernest Hemingway STEAM School!
