Born and raised in Idaho, I am pumped to be a Hemingway Husky! Upon moving to Blaine County, I taught at Silver Creek High School in Hailey. Before becoming an English teacher at Silver Creek, I taught both English and History for 3 years in Colorado. Prior to that, I received my Masters in History at Colorado State University, specializing in the history of the Wood River Valley. My first year of teaching was in Brooklyn, New York which could not have been a better place to throw myself into all that teaching offers. I received my teaching degree at Gonzaga University. When I am not in my classroom, I enjoy reading, hiking, yoga, skiing, hanging with my two kids, and all this awesome valley offers.
