What's Up with Adolescence?

  • Parenting Teens and Tweens can be complex and feel very isolating at times.  These resources include websites, articles and videos that are some of the best for the times when your child causes you to just go, "Huh?!"

    The goal with the Parenting Teens and Tweens community is to create a safe space where you and other parents of tweens and teens can find the answers you need. We also hope we can create a sense of connection and bring together a group of parents who are all in the trenches of these teen years together.  We want you to know you are not alone, you are not doing it wrong, and you and your teen will survive.

    While not directed wholly on the middle school years, this site does touch on many aspects of parenting that do relate.  "We look at the joys and parenting challenges of raising teens during midlife. Whether you are a single parent, working parent, facing the Empty Nest, here is a look at that lifelong parent/child relationship."
